As demand for advanced technological solutions are growing, many industries find it necessary to develop increasingly accurate models in their design phase. Moreover, due to competition, efficiency and shortage of materials, focus on optimal operation and manufacturing is therefore essential.

The lab is centered around fundamental aspects of advanced control theory and aim to support different industries with developing and applying advanced nonlinear and optimal control methods to elevate technological solutions. We aim to develop control methods that have real world potential and solve optimal control problems, e.g. controlling the power output of e.g. windmills.
