Wireless connectivity has become a commodity, deeply embedded in the fabric of work and play and connecting a myriad of systems, machines and devices. Tailoring a communication system to the different coexisting applications, device capabilities and very diverse requirements requires a thorough understanding and modelling of the real-time system behaviours along with the associated communication links.
