The research in the SWIft project is directed towards optimization, safety and control aspects of large-scale infrastructures with a particular focus on water infrastructures. To this end, the project will address various aspects of optimization such as multi-objective optimization, data-driven optimization using Artificial Intelligence (AI), robustness against system faults, cyber-attracts, and data privacy and security. The empirical study and the verification of hypotheses will be carried out in the Smart Water Infrastructure Laboratory (funded by Poul Due Jensens Fond).
