signal processing for communication research group

Signal Processing for Communication is one of the research groups at the Department of Electronic Systems.

The group focuses on the next generation of base stations in wireless communication networks. The base stations are scaled up compared to 5G base stations in a double way: inward by increasing the antenna density and outward by increasing its size. They will provide larger data rates to the users and an enhanced energy efficiency compared to the current generation. The research is at the intersection of signal processing and communication, including elements of electromagnetism.
