The research activities of the Signal and Information Processing (SIP) Section spans from fundamental, theoretical and experimental work via algorithm design scientific computing, methodologies for real-time and resource optimal implementation, and measurements to end-user testing. The application areas are rich in diversity, and covers in our current research portfolio: acoustic technology, communications technology, hearing aid technology, human perception (audio, vision, etc.), image and video processing, multimedia technology, radar signal processing, signal processing for use in wind power systems, social robots, and speech and audio processing.
