- The specialist journal "Ingeniøren" has through some time been working with a subject about acoustics and 3D sound, in which connection it has been possible to publish some good news from AAU, also on the front page. E.g. "a story about a ph.d. project" - (in Danish only) - that is supposed to bring 3D sound into the living room by means of dobble loud speakers, and an article about 3D sound co-operation with AM3D and Terma's order for 3D alarms for fighter pilots.
- Megumi Kaneko, former PhD student of APNET, now postdoc at Kyoto University, has been awarded the 11th Ericsson Young Scientist Award for her research achievement in "Radio resource allocation and scheduling in wireless multicarrier relayed systems ".
- Peter Popovski and Hiroyuki Yomo from APNET are co-authors of the paper that has won one of the the Best Paper Awards at Globecom 2009.
